Reverse Engineered Bicycle Challenge!

For our upcoming assignment, we've been ask to choose an object to digitally remodel. We are to pick something that has several pieces and is preferably dissectible. I wanted to work with something that would challenge me, without being too overwhelming.

The selection process proved to be pretty challenging all on it's own. Trying to find something that had many parts, and that someone hasn't done before. I finally found a piece that I think will be challenging and has enough parts for me to model. It's an object I feel I could recreate exactly, and if I were to ever print my model, it should work just the same way.

This is a miniature bicycle made of iron and wood. It was a piece left behind from when my house was on the market and being staged for showings. I thought it was pretty cool so it continues to live up on the book shelf.

When I had first picked it up I thought it would be stationary because it was made of metal but I was wrong. Both of the wheels turn, and so do the handle bars, as well as the pedals. It even has a working chain. This along with all the other pieces that make up this bicycle, and that fact that it's a decent size make it a great object to remodel.
